TTME is a professional international exhibition of equipment and technologies for textile and garment industry in Central Asia.
Today, the textile and garment industry of Uzbekistan is among the strategically important and dynamically developing sectors of the national economy. Around 7,000 enterprises presently operate in it.
In 2018, Uzbekistan’s export of textile products made $ 700 mln.
The volume of domestic processing of cotton fiber increased from 7% in 1991 to 60% in 2018.
By 2025, this share will reach 100%.
So far, more than $ 3 bln. has been invested into the textile and garment industry of Uzbekistan.
The State Programme of measures to further develop the textile, garment and knitwear industries has been adopted and it identifies 132 investment projects with a total value of $ 2.2 bln. 15 cotton-textile clusters are being currently implemented and by 2020 their number will reach 60.
As a result, by 2025, Uzbekistan plans to increase the production of textile products 2.6 times and the volume of exports to $ 7.1 bln.
In the coming years, this State Program will sustainably support the needs and demand in the modern high-quality production, processing equipment and technologies from the world's best manufacturers and brands.
